James Aubrey Post

James Aubrey Post, 95 of Kingsland, died Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was born March 16, 1921 in New Edinburg to the late John Hardy Post and Estelle Sanders Post. He was a member of the Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church, a Navy veteran, and served during World War II. He was also preceded in death by his wife Eva Mae Cash Post and his brothers, Baby Post, Billy Charles Post, and Jabie Post.
He is survived by one son Larry (Janet) Post of Kingsland; one daughter Delain (Dean) Steelman of Kingsland; one brother Samuel Post of Kingsland; three grandchildren, Lanette Miller of Lonoke, Wayne Post of Benton, and Meredith Gill (Matt) of New Edinburg; eight great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2PM Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
