James B. Nix

James B. Nix, 80, of Kingsland, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at his home. He was born January 22, 1931 in Sparkman, Arkansas. He was member of Kingsland Baptist Church and a retired lineman for TDS. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wesley Nix and Jamie Rogers Nix. He is survived by his wife, Frances Nix of Kingsland; three sons, Tommy (Rochelle) Nix of Kingsland, Gaylon (Jill) Baumgardner of Jackson, MS, Kerry (Beatrice) Baumgardner of Tupelo, MS; two daughters, Kandis (Mark) Wheeler of Kingsland, Youlonda (Brian) Miller of Woodlawn; one brother, Kurtis T. Nix of Benton, LA; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Wheeler and Rev. Harry Puterbaugh officiating. Burial at Wheeler Cemetery.
