James Thomas King, 85 of Fordyce, died Monday, January 18, 2016. He was born May 17, 1930 in Fordyce to the late Arthur Richard King and Laura Lucille "Sally" King. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Ellis Ray King and William "Bill" King.
He is survived by his wife Greta King of Fordyce; two sons Michael King and wife Sondra of Evans, Georgia and Russell King of Fordyce; one sister Frances Archer of Elwood, Illinois; six grandchildren: Heather and Bridget King, both of Baltimore, Maryland, Dustin King of Arkansas, Amanda Evans of Holly Springs, Amelia King of Fort Worth, Texas, and Shawn Barnes of Fayetteville; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Stoney Point Cemetery. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
