James Raye "Jo" Lindsey, 83 of Fordyce, died Monday, August 12, 2013. She was born August 22, 1929 in Bunn, Arkansas to the late James and Essie Barnes Gill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Farris M. Lindsey.
She is survived by her three daughters: Charlotte Shepherd and husband Bud of Arkadelphia, Jeannie Givens and husband Gene of Sparkman, Myra Oliver and husband Todd of Fordyce; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. Funeral services are 2 PM Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Stoney Point Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
