James Edward Hobson, 51 of Carthage, died Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home. He was born March 29, 1961 in Pine Bluff to Marie Turner Inglis and the late Charles B. Hobson. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Olland McGriff and grandmothers Mallie Hobson and Reba McGriff.
He is survived by his son, Blake Hobson of Kingsland; his mother, Marie Turner Inglis of Carthage; two sisters, Deborah Axsom of Carthage and Linda Flemmons of McGhee; and three brothers, Stan Hobson of Carthage, Wayne Hobson of Carthage, and Charlie Hobson of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday at New Friendship Church. There will be no graveside services. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
