James D. Doherty, 66, of Bearden, died Friday February 13, 2009, at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton, AR. Mr. Doherty was born in Camden, AR on December 26, 1942.
He is survived by his mother, Odie Haynes Doherty of Bearden, AR, a brother, Billy Doherty of Bearden, AR; a sister Linda Stiles of Bearden, AR; a cousin JP Nelson of Weaver, AL; a aunt, Christine Reynolds of Hampton, AR, & many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle J. Doherty.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday February 14, 2009 at the Moss Cemetery, with the Rev. Darren Smith & Rev. Tim Doherty officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Bearden. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
