James Dewey Shaddock

James Dewey Shaddock, 67, of Fordyce, died Friday May 18, 2012 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. He was born in Camden, AR on February 17, 1945 to the late Dewey & Christine Shaddock. Mr. Shaddock was a retired teacher, & a Baptist Minister. He honorably & faithfully served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Martha Shaddock of Fordyce, AR; two sons, Brian Shaddock & his wife Jennifer of Fordyce, AR, Brice Shaddock & his wife Niki of Fordyce, AR; a brother, Johnny Shaddock of Atlanta, GA; & two grandchildren, Owen Shaddock of Fordyce, AR, Caitlin Millwood of Fordyce, AR. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, & two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday May 21, 2012 at the Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Benton Cemetery, with the Rev. Nick Flowers & Rev. Stacy Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
