James Alan Anthony

James Alan Anthony, 74, of Sheridan died Monday, September 16, 2019 at his home. He was born July 22, 1945 in Camden, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Anthony and Ozella Quarles Anthony; one brother, Glenn Anthony; and two sisters, Maxine Ethridge, and Jane McClain. He is survived by two sons, Lester Anthony of Sheridan, Brian Anthony of Bearden; two daughters, Rhonda Anthony and Glenda Anthony of Sheridan; four brothers, John R. Anthony of Arkadelphia, Lee Anthony of Benton, Bill Anthony of Bearden, and Dennis Anthony of Bearden; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Graveside services are 10:00 am Saturday at Bethel Cemetery in Bearden with Steve Ethridge officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
