James Edward Alexander

James Edward Alexander, age 73 of Bearden died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born September 10, 1951 in Camden, Arkansas. He served in the Army National Guard and retired after 38 years from the Arkansas Highway Department as a bridge supervisor.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Elmer Alexander and Mary Bernice Ratcliff Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Davis Alexander of Bearden; one son, Jason Alexander of Bearden; step-son, Richard (Hana) Farley of Waco, TX; one daughter, Christy (Nathan) Pennington of Hampton; one step-daughter, Wendy Jo Thompson of Bearden; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Brother Don Phillips and Brother Richard Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery.
