Jack C. Anthony

Jack C. Anthony, 71, of Bearden died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Jack was born August 16, 1943 in Texarkana, AR. He was a retired logging contractor, a member of Bearden First United Methodist Church, and he served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Addison (T.A.) Anthony, Pearl Coston Anthony Ragan; one daughter, Jackie Anthony; one brother, Jerry Don Anthony; and three sisters, Marguerite Howard, Lucille Hambric, and Helen Ruth Burdette. Jack is survived by his wife Brenda Anthony of Bearden; one son, Jamie Anthony of Bearden; and four grandchildren, Adam Anthony of Bearden, Abbi Anthony of Maumelle, A.C. Powell of Camden, and Harley Sellers of Bearden. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Andy Hughes and Rev. Jordan Wright officiating. Burial services at Moss Cemetery will be private.
