Ivy Jeanette Launius

Ivy Jeanette Buckley Launius went to sleep peacefully in her chair of her Hopeville home August 3, 2026 only to wake in heaven where she joined her beloved Marvin. She was born December 3, 1930 to Harvey and Emma Hazel Warren Buckley in McCaskill, Arkansas. She leaves behind her two sons Damon and Monte (Sonya) Launius, three grandsons Chad (Lindsey), Jeremy (Kacey), and Brent (Megan) Launius; great grandchildren Dawson (Abbigail), Bradley (Bryar), Gunner (Kinley), Katlyn, Keegan, Johnie, Ellis, Presley, Jax, Adalyn, and Rylee, and great-great granddaughter Blair.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-love Rita Norman Launius, her grandson Shane Launius and of course the love of her life Marvin Launius; along with her brother Donnie Buckley, sister Gladene Buckley, sister Barbara Buckley Dorey and brother-in-love Paul Dorey.

Jeanette dedicated her life to serving alongside her husband in the ministry for many, many years. She was a teacher impacting the lives of many students. She was known for having a soft yet stern voice guiding her sons and grandsons to ensure a life of following Jesus.
