Iris Ophelia Ray

Iris Ophelia Henderson Ray, age 94, of Hampton died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Ouachita Nursing & Rehab in Camden. She was born January 22, 1919 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She was a retired nurse's aide and a charter member of Dickenson Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, E.L. Henderson and Lillian Brown Henderson; and one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Brenda Ray. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Becky Ray of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Janet Maciejeski and husband Eli Shahade, Bruce Maciejeski , Stacy Ray and wife Kristine, and Chris Ray all of Houston, TX; four great grandchildren, Amber Nolan of North Carolina, Megan Maciejeski, and Misty Ray and Rachael Ray all of Houston, TX; two great-great grandchildren, Kaylee and Brooklynn Ray of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Dickinson Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Colvin and Rev.
