Inez Gilbert

Mae Inez Gilbert, 93, of Bearden went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. She was born October 15, 1918 in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Bearden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Luther and Vera Bryan Garrett; husband, Edward Bradley Gilbert; and one brother, Bryan Garrett. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joe Bradley and Delores Gilbert of Bearden; one brother, Joe Garrett and wife Mary Ann of Rison; two grandchildren, Dana Kelly and husband Chad of Bearden, Kyla Taylor and husband Chris of Ft. Smith; two great grandchildren, Cody Kelly and fiancé Hannah Bolin of Bearden, and Cassidy Kelly of Bearden. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or First United Methodist Church in Bearden. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Moss Cemetery in Bearden with Rev. Andy Hughes officiating.
