Ida Mae Quarles, age 93, of Arlington, TN died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Gallaway Health & Rehab in Gallaway, TN. She was born September 29, 1927 in Dallas County Arkansas. She was retired from Wells Fargo and was a member of 7th Street Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Jewell Hollis and Ida Lee Nutt Hollis; husband, Hershel Lee Quarles; one son, Gary Quarles; two brothers, James Hollis and Barney Hollis; and one sister, Rebecca Pennington. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Suzanne Quarles of Arlington, TN; five grandchildren, Ashlee Peterson and Blaine Quarles of Arlington, TN, Tyler Peterson of Elkhart Lake, WI, Travis and Emille Peterson of CA; five great grandchildren, Austin Peterson, Jillian Peterson, Junie Ann Peterson, Jazelle Peterson and Ryder Nestlen. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
