Horace C. Ray

Horace C. Ray, age 58, of Sparkman, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 28, 2013, while at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 17, 1955 in Camden, Arkansas. He was a 30 plus years log cutter, a member of Ouachita Assembly of God in Ouachita and a member of the Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis V. Ray; his brother and sister-in-law, John F. and Pat Ray; and his brother-in-law, Roger Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lynda D. Rhodes Ray; two sons, Matthew Ray and wife Rebecca; and Tim Ray all of Sparkman; four grandchildren Patton, Reed, Molly, and Brody; mother, Louise Ray of Sparkman; two brothers, Vernon and wife Joyce of Sparkman, Gary Ray and wife Debbie of Sparkman; one sister, Vanita Davis of Camden; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30th at Ouachita Assembly of God in Ouachita, 801 Hwy 207, Sparkman, AR. 71763, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The funeral services are 10:00 am Wednesday at Ouachita Assembly of God with Rev. Marvin Launius and Rev. Billy Reed officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
