Homer Frank Davis

Homer Frank Davis, 91, of Harrell died on Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home. He was born September 3, 1927 in Tinsman, Arkansas. He was an Army World War II veteran, a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church, a Mason, and a deacon. He was also retired from the Rock Island Railroad, was a member of the Cattlemen’s Association and the Lions Club. He loved squirrel hunting, cattle farming and spending time with his kids. Frank is joined in heaven by his parents, James and Effie Smith Davis; one brother, James Earl Davis; and three sisters, Nettie Mercer, Essie Mae Cranford, and Eva Porter. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Arvenia Floye Blann Davis of Harrell; one daughter, Frankie (Richard) Fimple of Van Buren; two sons, Roger Davis of Harrell, Larry (Kay) Davis of Hampton; one granddaughter, Kerry (Brian) Scott of Alma; one grandson, Chad (Pam) Davis of Harrell; four great grandchildren, Josie Scott, Tori Scott, Aidan Davis and Brogan Davis; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu flowers donations may be made to Earnest Cemetery or the Gideon’s International. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Victory Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Colvin and Rev. Eddie Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Earnest Cemetery.
