Hershey Dean Steelman

Hershey Dean Steelman, 82, of Fordyce died Friday, August 31, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born October 13, 1935 in Chambersville, Arkansas. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Chambersville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Otis Gresham and Mary Juanita Hornaday Gresham; husband, James Ed Steelman; and one son, Rickey Steelman. She is survived by two sons, Dean (Delain) Steelman of Kingsland, Devern “Bunny” (Donna) Steelman of Thornton; one daughter, Pennie Robertson of Fordyce; five grandchildren, Amie Robertson of Fordyce, Meredith (Matt) Gill of New Endinburg, Aaron (Katelin) Robertson of Chickasa, OK, Allan Steelman of Thornton, and April Steelman of Fordyce; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Jones officiating.
