Henry Wayne Hunt - Beloved Dad, Husband, Brother, Uncle, and Friend died Friday May 10, 2024, at his home in Winder, GA surrounded by his family.
Henry was known to others as “Pete;” a nickname from his childhood to his family; Mr. Henry to his wife, daughter and stepson.
Mr. Henry was the youngest of three children. According to Ms. Tina, he was “definitely the spoiled baby brother”!!!
He enjoyed many adventures with his wife for 19 years. They enjoyed staying in the mountains and cruises. He was Ms. Kimberly’s prince charming and will always be her soulmate.
Henry enjoyed life safety as a Fire Alarm Service expert. This trade followed him through his normal day-to-day practices.
He always helped anyone that needed assistance, including homeless friends and anyone that was in need. His heart was for the poor and needy. Mr. Henry never met a stranger. He would give folks the opportunity to work, allowing them to have extra money in their pockets.
He had a love for life and a love of life! He was quite an adventurous man. His “need for speed” began at a young age, when the family lived in Huntsville, Texas.
He enjoyed buying/selling used cars, hang gliding, motorcycles and sky diving (a passion of his), just to mention a few.
He enjoyed Nascar and got to experience many live races. Additionally, he loved to twist wrenches, and buy storage lockers. He was such a daredevil. He had a deep love of Corvette’s – one time even getting one up to a speed of 160!! That’s my kind of fella!!!
His daughter, Isabella, was truly a Daddy’s girl. They had many late-night chats about various life events. His stepson, Alexander, always brought his apples to him to peel; peeling them with his pocketknife!!! Alexander always looked up to Mr. Henry.
Mr. Henry loved his family and his family loved him. The angels have taken a truly remarkable man. He will greatly be missed.
On May 29, 2024, Henry will be laid to rest at the Wright Family Cemetery. To sign the online register visit
