Helen F. Bryant

Helen F. Bryant, 90, of Fordyce, died Thursday July 31, 2008 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Ms. Bryant was born in New Edinburg, AR, on November 15, 1917 to the late Montie E. & Allie Tipton Bryant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fordyce, and was a retired sales clerk for Sterling Dept. Store.

She is survived by her brother, Max E. Bryant & his wife Virginia of Little Rock, AR; four sisters, Betty Lisemby & husband Elbert of Fordyce, AR, Montine Bryant of Fordyce, AR, Shirley Cherry of Odem, TX, Pat Belin & husband Charles of Hermitage, AR; and a sister in-law, Janet Bryant. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, W.B. & Joe Bryant, and a sister, Eunice Bryant.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday August 2, 2008 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce. Burial will be in McCoy Cemetery, with the Rev. Stacy Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
