Harvey F. Launius, Jr..

Henry Launius, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the age of 81. Harvey was born on February 1, 1931 to Mr. And Mrs. Harvey Launius, Sr. of Holly Springs, Arkansas.

Harvey grew up in Holly Springs and attended Princeton High School in Princeton, Arkansas. He made his home in Texas for 50 years then moved to Durant, Oklahoma to be near his daughters. Harvey was a member of Central Park Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas. He worked for Halliburton in Carrollton, Texas.

Harvey is survived by his wife Wanda and two daughters, Beverly Moody & husband Troy and Krista Childers & husband Larry. His son Craig Launius predeceased Harvey on June 21, 2011. Harvey has 5 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday night from 5 PM until 7 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 10 AM Monday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rev. Nathan Petty will officiate. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
