Harry Clemons Sr.

Harry Clemons, Sr., age 84 of Bearden died Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was born March 28, 1940 in Bearden, Arkansas. He was a retired logging contractor and a lifelong rancher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Lee Clemons and Bessie Mae Mosley Clemons; daughter, Gail Byars; four brothers, Hugh Ed “Snow” Clemons, James Ed “Button” Clemons, Sam Clemons, John Clemons; one sister, Eva Nell Ragsdale. Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Weeks Clemons of Bearden; one son, Harry (Tanya) Clemons, Jr. of Bearden; one son-in-law, Brad Byars of Clinton, NC; three grandchildren, Brandon (Dana) Byars of Clinton, NC, Beth (Caleb) Marvel of Springfield, OH, Halie (Chris) Dodd of Sheridan; seven great grandchildren, Anniston and Berklee Dodd, Gideon, Silas and Abigail Marvel, Andie Rae and Mack Byars; special family friend, Michael Shane Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at The Red Barn on the family farm, 155 Ouachita 263, Bearden, AR 71720 with Rev. Donnie Jester officiating. Burial will follow at Moss Cemetery in Bearden.
