Harold Wayne Clayton, 75, of Fordyce, died Saturday November 19, 2011. Mr. Clayton was born in Holly Springs, AR, on December 4, 1935 to the late Willis & Reba Seale Clayton. He was a Truck Driver, & a Mason. Mr. Clayton honorably & faithfully served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife Stefanie Clayton of Fordyce, AR; three sons, Rick Clayton & his wife Rose of Crossett, AR, Ben Clayton & his wife Anne of Sparkman, AR; Kirby Clayton & wife Pam of Suwanee, GA; a daughter, Melody Hogge & her husband Richard of Huntington, AR; two step-sons, Norman "Bubba" Draper, Jr. of Woodlawn, AR, Stefan Draper of White Hall, AR; two step-daughters, Anita Valentine of Pine Bluff, AR, Jeanie Brown of Woodlawn, AR; a brother, Dwight Clayton of Fordyce, AR; a sister, Margaret Childers of Sparkman, AR; eleven grandchildren, & 16 great grandchildren. Mr. Clayton was preceded in death by a brother, Carrol Clayton.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday November 22, 2011 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Delamar Cemetery, with the Rev. Daniel Clayton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
