Harland Paul Browning

Harland Paul Browning, 66, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Kingsland, died Friday May 9, 2008. Mr. Browning was born in Pine Bluff, AR on April 2, 1942 to the late Claudie Otto & Helen Harris Browning. He was a retired project manager at Lockheed Martin & a member of the Kingsland Assembly of God Church. Mr. Browning honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his son, Danny Browning of San Angelo, TX; two daughters, Helen Weems of Kingsland, AR, Kathy Araguz of Mcgehee, AR; two sisters, Frances Goad of Andersonville, IN, Jean Stivers of Pine Bluff, AR; eight grandchildren, & four great grandchildren. Mr. Browning was preceded in death by his wife, Charolene Crawford Browning, & a son, Charles Browning.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday May 14, 2008 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Tolson cemetery, with the Rev. George Brandon, & Rev. Lewis Langley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
