Glynn Vernon Langford, 85, of Kingsland, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 15, 2023. Glynn was born on September 3, 1937 in New Edinburg, Arkansas. Glynn was a loving father, a true friend and a member of Kingsland First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pearlie Dee Towery Langford and James Hiram Langford, wife Frances Johnson Cearley Langford, brothers James Langford, Gordon Langford, Gerald Langford, Charles Langford and sisters Martha Catherine Smith, Ann Crook, Dorothy McCallister and Mary Sue Davenport.
He is survived by his brother Rayburn Langford of Fordyce, AR; his children, daughter Toni Ann Marsh of Olympia, WA, son James Vernon Langford, stepdaughter Debbie Cearley of Kingsland, AR and stepson Mike Cearley of Maumelle, AR; his grandchildren, Doreen Ann Langford McCoy, Nicole Lynn Langford, Jamie Reneé Langford, Leslie Jo Langford, step grand children Tim and Jeff Cearley; great-grandchildren, Conner Scott Wolford, Rylie Gene Taylor, Ryatt Scott Taylor.
Glynn was a proud 21 year United States Air Force veteran, serving from 1957-1978, retiring from service from McCord Air Force Base in Tacoma WA to pursue a small farming operation in Rainier, WA.
Glynn loved his homeland very much and spent his last 34 years in Kingsland AR where he loved THE LORD, helped countless people, both in his community and far away.
Memorial services will be held at Kingsland First Baptist, Saturday August 19, 2023. Memorial service will be from 1:00 - 2:00pm with family visitation after. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to:
