Glenn Anthony, 70, of Bearden died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at his home. He was born November 8, 1939 in Bearden. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden and was a retired mail carrier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ozella Quarles Anthony; daughter, Tammy Anthony; sister, Maxine Harrell and granddaughter, Brandi Anthony. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Anthony of Bearden; one son, Chuck Anthony and his wife Tricia of Bearden; two daughters, Pam Anthony of Bearden and Christy Johnson and her husband Mitch of Star City; one step-daughter, Linda Henry and her husband Pete of Thornton; five brothers, John R. Anthony of Arkadelphia, Lee Anthony of Benton, Bill Anthony of Bearden, Alan Anthony of Sheridan, Dennis Anthony of Bearden; one sister, Jane McClain of Alexander; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cole officiating.
