Gervis Ray Summers

Gervis Ray Summers, 84, of Rogers, died Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born March 22, 1930 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira Summers and Lurlie Proctor Summers; five brothers; and eight sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mary Woodall Summers; granddaughter, Kendall Mair; one brother, Dura Summers; and two sisters, Lurlie Colby and Clara Talley. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Marvin Launius officiating. A private burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery near Hampton.
