Geraldine Launius

Geraldine Launius, 90, El Dorado, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Oak Ridge Nursing Home in El Dorado. Mrs. Launius was born in Hampton, AR on August 19, 1921, to the late Autry Earl & Carrie Zeffie Blann Stringfellow. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Zack Launius & his wife, Donna, of Onalaska, TX, Allen Launius of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Coviedine "Krickett" Randen & her husband Terry of Camdenton, MO, Bonnie Jean Launius of Hot Springs, AR;
a brother, Jimmy Stringfellow of Calion, AR; a sister, Joyce Howard of Texas City, TX, nine grandchildren, & ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zachariah Launius, a brother, Willie John Stringfellow, & a sister, Scarlett Jean Smith.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, with the Rev. Max Ables officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
