Gerald W. Holmes

Gerald W. "Jerry" Holmes, age 64, of Bearden Arkansas died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born in the Salem Community to the late Rufus and Mary Evelyn Beard Holmes. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Billy Ray Holmes. He leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Martha Holmes; son, Jeremy W. Holmes and wife Stefanie of Bearden; daughter, Jena S. Holmes of Monticello; brothers, Robert Holmes and wife Susan of Bearden, David Holmes of Bonita Springs, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Holland officiating.
