Georgia Louise Stringfellow

Georgia Louise Stringfellow, 90, of Hampton died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at her home. Born April 3, 1922 in Fordyce, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Norman Bowers and Athen Dean Smith Bowers. She is also preceded in death by her husband; Alfred E. Stringfellow; daughter, Paula Gail Stringfellow; and brother, Robert Bowers. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Hampton and was a retired L.P. N. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy E. and LaDoris Stringfellow of Hampton, Tom D. and Pam Stringfellow of Maumelle; six grandchildren, Drew Stringfellow and Sam Stringfellow both of Little Rock, Nicole Young of Maumelle, Faith McManus of Dallas, TX, Hope Phillips of Maumelle, Charity Turberville of Maumelle; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Southern Christian Home in Morrilton, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the Church of Christ in Hampton. Burial will follow at Means Cemetery in Hampton. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce/Hampton.
