George Woolf

Robert George Woolf, 60, of Batesville, AR, died Monday February 2, 2009 at UAMS in Little Rock. Mr. Woolf was born in Little Rock on September 1, 1948 to the late James Lee & Mary Elmo Hornaday Woolf. Mr. Woolf worked for 25 years at Entergy of Arkansas. He served as a deacon at Sylvan Hills First Baptist in Sherwood & at First Baptist Church of Batesville. He was a 32nd degree Mason, where he served as the past Worshipful Master of Mt. Sinai Lodge 749 NLR . He was an encouragement to many by his warm heartedness and kind nature.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Judy Williams Woolf of Batesville, AR; three daughters, Sarah Ellen Woolf of Little Rock, Cindy Leanne Woolf of Springfield, MO, & Amy Elizabeth Barnhill & her husband Kyle of Fort Smith; his brother Jim Woolf & his wife Reeda of Hickory, NC.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 5, 2009 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Batesville, Overseas Missions trips account.
