George Dee Doherty

George Dee Doherty, 79 of Bearden died Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at his home. He was born June 19, 1946 to the late Melvin Horace Doherty and Verta Mae Doherty. He was a retired auto mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Doherty and one grandson, Scotty Balance.

He is survived by one son, Randy Doherty of El Dorado; two daughters, Theresa Kirkendall of Shreveport, LA and Janet Anthony of Bearden; three grand-daughters; three grandsons; one great grandson; two great granddaughters; three sisters, Maybell Walthall of Bearden, Thelma Jeane Oor of Bearden, and Kathy Bolden of Bearden; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
