Garry Ted Roark

Garry Ted Roark, 76, of Hampton died Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. Born February 24, 1942 at El Dorado, he was the son of the late Maynor Roark and Bessie Blann Roark. He was a member of Harrell United Methodist Church and was an engineer on the Cotton Belt Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Roark of Hampton; son, Ryan Roark and wife Michele of Wellington, FL; daughter, Amanda Roark Johnson and husband Jeff of Baytown, TX; step-son, Timothy Stokes of Tacoma, WA; step-daughter, Michelle Blann and husband Wade of Hampton; four grandchildren, Janey Johnson of Kingwood, TX, Sarah Johnson Miller and husband John of Waco, TX, Rex Roark of Ft. Worth, TX, and Clayton Roark of Lubbock, TX.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harrell United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Harrell United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harrell United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton/Fordyce.
