Garland Ray Wright

Garland Ray Wright, 86, of Hampton died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado. He was born July 12, 1929 in Bradley County, Arkansas. He was a retired truck driver for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. He is survived by his wife of forty one years, Ola Mae Wright of Hampton; two sons, Jimmy Ray Wright of Lake Village, Kent Strickland of Hampton; three daughters, Sheila Dunn, Renee Hanson and Marcia Strong all of Hampton; one brother, Floyd Wright of Norphlet; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ford Wright and Lola Slaughter Wright; two brothers, Clyde and James Wright; two sisters, Clydean Wright and Jeanette Duncan; and one great granddaughter, Kenslee Riggs. Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 until 11:00 am at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will follow immediately at Shady Grove Cemetery near Jersey with Rev. Keith Nutt and Rev.
