Frankie A. Doherty

Frankie A. Doherty, age 55, of Bearden, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home. He was born June 22, 1957 in Camden, Arkansas. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bearden and worked for the city of Bearden. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Doherty and Vera Quarles Doherty; three sisters, Emma Doherty, Shirley Doherty, and Rosie Pennington; two brothers, Lewis Doherty and Mike Doherty. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Doherty of Bearden; one daughter, Wendy Forsyth of Bearden; two brothers, James Doherty of Camden and Johnny Doherty of Magnolia; three sisters, Frances Haynes of Fordyce, Debbie Walker of Bearden and Sammie Bean of Sparkman. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at White Oak Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Stevicks officiating.
