Floyd L. Wages

Floyd L. "Bill" Wages, 87, of Fordyce died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. He was born April 26, 1927 in Ouachita County, Arkansas. He was a retired truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom A. Wages and Lula Martin Wages; wife Opal Jones Wages; three brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Givens Wages of Fordyce; one son, Alton Gene Wages and wife Cricket of Nacogdoches, TX; three daughters, Barbara Sue Partin and husband George of Nacogdoches, TX, Carolyn Lochridge and husband Joe of Coal Hill, Billie Umphress of Garland, TX; one sister, Helen Deaton of El Dorado; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Don Ashcraft officiating.
