Evelyn Fern Bowen

Evelyn Fern Bowen, 76, of New Edinburg died Wednesday August 30, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born September 23, 1940, she was a daughter of the late W.J. Morgan and Martha Jean Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild Casey Bowen; great-grandchild Aiden Bowen. She is survived by her husband, Watt Bowen of New Edinburg; two sons, Sonny Bowen, Dean Bowen; two daughters, Shelia Towery, Rosie Pierce, all of New Edinburg; one brother, Larry Morgan of Fordyce; one sister, Virginia Mann of Longview, TX; seven grandchildren, Christopher Bowen, Mary Noyce, Camella Kitchens, Justin Rothwell, Jessica Barrett, Clay Towery, Jeremy Towery; nine great-grandchildren; and good friend Ricky St. John. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:30 to 2:30 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with funeral services following at 2:30 Friday at Benton Funeral Home.
