Eva Hearnsberger Chambers

Eva Hearnsberger Chambers, 88, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi (former longtime resident of Fordyce, Arkansas), passed away, March 8, 2010, at Forrest General Hospital.
Mrs. Chambers was a homemaker. At her death, she was the oldest living member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Chambers,her parents, Zell C. and Lucille Ritter Hearnsberger; three brothers, Thurmond, Cone and Brook Hearnsberger; two sisters, Hazel Spears and Patsy Sue Hearnsberger.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wilber and Alice Lane Chambers of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; a granddaughter, Alice Anne Elliott of South Riding, Virginia; brother, Z.C. "Bo" Hearnsberger of Garrison, TX; sister, Pat Emmons of Lufkin, TX; extended family, Dr. Lewis Hatten, Betty Bly Hatten and Andrew Hatten all of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Arkansas. Memorial donations may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church, P.O. Box 824, Fordyce, Arkansas 71742 or to Gideon's International.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethesda Baptist Church in Chambersville, Arkansas followed by burial in Chambersville Cemetery.
Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Arkansas are in charge of arrangements.
