Eupha Turner

Eupha Turner, 98, of Chidester, died July 6, 2008 at Timberlane Health & Rehab in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born October 28, 1909 in Boswell, Oklahoma. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chidester and was retired from Benton Casket Company in Fordyce. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bessie Scurlock Engleman; husband, Bruce Turner and son, James Monroe "Jimmy" Smith. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Hazel J. Smith of Crossett, granddaughter, Terri Meinhold of Arden, SC and three great-grandchildren, Kelly Meinhold, Drew Smith and Colt Smith. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Earnest Cemetery near Tinsman, Arkansas. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Arkansas.
