Erma Rogers

Erma Lou Burford Rogers, 92, of Fordyce died Monday April 23, 2012 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock. Born August 3, 1919 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Sam Houston Burford and Azzie Barbara Garner Burford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Joel Rogers and four brothers, Houston, Ulyss, Maurice, and Hollis Burford. Survivors include a son, Robert Summerville and wife, Carollyn of Greenbrier; daughter, Beverly Crain and husband, Steve of Fordyce; sons Tommie Rogers and wife, Janet of Oak Harbor, WA, Richard Rogers and wife, Susan of Yerington, NV; brother, Learle Burford of Little Rock; sisters Zeta Bratton of Little Rock, Jaunice Hennington of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Michael Summerville, Jennifer Mathis, Charlie Crain, Louann Crain Morrow, Angela DelGiudice-Hicks, Erin Rogers Linton, Joel Rogers, Kaylynn Rogers; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Erin, Andrew, Geofrey, Afton, Jonas, Kambrea, Hattie, Benjamin, Drew, Siena, Olivia, Avery, Reese, Gabriel, Conrad Joel; special friend, Jupe Townsend. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Canada/Kennedy Cemetery with Rev.
