Emmett Dwayne Hill

Emmett Dwayne Hill of Kingsland passed away Wednesday March 15, 2023 at the age of 65.
He was born in Carlsbad, NM on February 11, 1958. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Betty Hill.
He is survived by his sister, Rhonda Well of Thornton; one nephew, Terry (Amanda) Crain; one niece, Stacey (Kerry) Gray; four great nieces, Emily Phillips, MaryHelen Crain, Madison Gray, Miley Gray all of Fordyce, all whom he loved dearly.
He had a love for art and for God. His biggest accomplishments were designing the Johnny Cash monument in Kingsland, and he also designed the first cancelled postage stamp featuring Cash.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net
