Emma Jean Ezell

Emma Jean Adair Ezell, 76 of Fordyce died Wednesday April 22, 2015 at her home. Born December 19, 1938 at Fordyce, she was the daughter of the late William Lee Adair and Virgie Lee Duncan Adair. She was a Deputy Clerk for Dallas County and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a 1956 graduate of Fordyce High School and later got her degree from Draughan 's School of Business in Little Rock. She was a member of the Jaycee's, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a Cub Scout Den Leader, a member of the Life Striders Cancer Relay for Life Team for 14 years, being a cancer survivor for 33 years, a member of the Kingsland and Chambersville Volunteer Fire Departments, and the CSEPP Emergency Response Team. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Edward Ezell. She is survived by her husband, Charles Eben Ezell; two daughters, Diana Lynn Ray (Tim) of Fordyce, Cynthia Ann Mitchell (Mitch) of Fordyce; son, William Jeffrey Ezell (Amanda) of Watauga, TX; eight grandchildren, Adrian Minton of Mt. Ida, Rodney Edward Kirkpatrick of Cabot, Tyler Jordan Mitchell of Kingsland, Kevin Lee Ray of Beebe, Kerry Lynn Ray of Fordyce, Joshua William Ezell of Strong, Melissa Brooke Ezell of Strong, Noel McKenzie Ezell of Watauga, TX; three great grandchildren, Chesney Kirkpatrick, Brantley Zane Lee Ray, Cameron Ezell. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
