Eloise H. Ballard Tipton

Eloise H. Ballard Tipton, 97 of Fordyce died Friday August 15, 2014 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born October 21, 1916 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Allie Ballard. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie F. Tipton and a sister, Robbie Hornaday. She is survived by her children, Peggy Thornton (Kenneth) of North Little Rock, Allie Willierene Garrett (Mickey) of Fordyce, Greg Tipton (Becky) of Dubach, LA; grandchildren, Gretchen Morgan of Fordyce, Johnny A. Garrett of Dallas, TX, Priscilla Southall of Greenbrier, Jason Tipton of Bossier City, LA; and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Beech Grove Baptist Church.
