Ella Louise Shook Whiteside

Ella Louise Shook Whiteside, 83 of Fordyce died Sunday November 27, 2016 at Dallas County Medical Center. Born July 6, 1933 at Tinsman, she was the daughter of the late Charles Levi Shook and Eunice Avris Shook. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Fordyce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd E. Whiteside. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Gale Satterfield of Fordyce; two sons, Boyd Keith Whiteside and his wife Cindy of Star City, Paul Whiteside and his wife Teresa of Camden; one brother, Joseph Orville Shook of Fordyce; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
