Edward B. House

Edward B. House (Uncle Dick) passed away in Fordyce, Ar. on May 19, 2018. He was born on September 26, 1930 to Robert and Martha House. He proudly served his country and retired as a Master Sergeant having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Janet House, his son Daniel and siblings Carroll, Calvin and Francis Mahan. He is survived by his son Kenneth and his special daughter Beverly. Also, nephews Jimmy and Hank Mahan and nieces Wilma Adams and Kay Howard, Brenda Robinson and Ginger Brown. Uncle Dick loved the outdoors and was able to spend his retirement years hunting, fishing and trapping in the Arkansas woods. Services will be held at Benton Funeral Home, Fordyce, Ar. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm. with Reverend David Dillard officiating with music performed by Crystal Owens and Trent Howard accompanied by Teresa Dillard.
