Edna Mae Parker

March 13, 1938 — January 31, 2022

Edna Mae Knous Parker, 83 of El Dorado, went to meet her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2022. She was born in Watertown, Massachusetts on March 13, 1938, to the late Egbert Knous and Catherine (Henderson) Knous.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Miller Parker; and her two daughters, Diana Lynn Strickland and Deborah Mae Parker Baker.

She is survived by her son, Richard Miller Parker (Clydell) of Hampton; son-in-law Robert M. Baker, Jr. of Hampton; seven grandchildren, Shaun Carter, Laura Floyd (Brandon), Tisha Mills (Matt), Valerie Parker (Doug), Tiffany Parker Nutt (Lance), Robert M. “Trae” Baker, III (Tricia) and Felicia Akers; eight great-grandchildren and many more family members and friends she cared for over her lifetime.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Union Grove Cemetery.
