Edna Lett O'Mary

Edna Lett O'Mary, age 93, of Ramsey, Arkansas returned to her maker on April 20, 2011 in Fordyce, Arkansas. She was the daughter of William Edward Lett and Anna Jane Oliver Lett and the granddaughter of John Beng (Buffalo) Oliver and Martha Jane York Oliver of Hampton, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ira L. O'Mary, her son Kenneth H. O'Mary, her daughter-in-law Johnetta Hutzel O'Mary, her brothers John and Charlie Lett, and her sisters Della Lett, Lillie Lett Welch, Mildred Lett Green, Peggy Lett Gidney, Mary Lee Lett, and Ruth Lett.

She was loved by and blessed with a wonderful family. She is survived by her sons Marvin O'Mary and wife Cherie of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Mark O'Mary and wife Trish of Ramsey, Arkansas; her daughter Janie O'Mary Brazzel and husband Eddie of Hope, Arkansas and Jean O'Mary Adams and husband Raygand of Norfork, Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandsons: Scott O'Mary and wife Michelle of Plano, Texas; Ben Brazzel of Hope; Cullen Kelly of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Kenneth Kelly of Gentry, Arkansas; and Jacob O'Mary of Gonzales, LA. She was blessed with two great grandsons, Calib Kelly and Matthew O'Mary, and five great granddaughters: Catherine and Madeline O'Mary, Kily and Katy Kelly, and Ellie Ruth Brazzel. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends whom she also loved.

Edna was a member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church. For 48 years, she worked as a partner with her husband Ira and son Marvin at O'Mary and O'Mary Public Accountants in Fordyce. Since retiring in 2003, she had lived in Norfork, Arkansas and Ramsey, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce. Burial will be at Stoney Point Cemetery. Assisting in the service will be Elder Freddy Boen, Elder Paul Casey, Elder Charles Sandage, and Bro. Bobby McQuirter. Visitation is Friday evening from 7 PM until 9 PM at Benton Funeral Home.
