Edith Lee Holmes

Edith Lee Holmes, age 90, of Hampton, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 in the Ouachita Medical Center at Camden. Born August 27, 1920 in Malvern. She was the daughter of the late Bryan and Betty House Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Thornton. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Archie Holmes. Survivors include one daughter Monte and husband Mike Williams of Hampton; one son, Stephen Holmes of Hampton; two grandchildren, Kelley Starr of Hampton and Michael and wife Christy Williams of Bentonville; and the love of her life three great grandchildren, Brett and Katie Starr of Hampton and Madelynn Williams of Bentonville. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chambersville with Rev.
