M. Doyle "Tex" Howard, 74, of Odessa, Texas died Sunday, September 20, 2009 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born January 13, 1935 in Mena, Arkansas. He was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ovel Howard and Bertha Brewer Howard. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Mark Cupp of El Dorado; one son, Doyle Howard, Jr. of La Grange, TX; one brother, Eugene Overturf of El Paso, TX; two sisters, Rose Sharp of Idaho and Paula Pender of El Paso, TX; and three grandchildren, Mikayla Howard, Taylor Hillman and Myka Hillman. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Moore's Chapel Cemetery near Hampton with Rev. Al Womack officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
