Doyle Lee "Collar Buster" Patterson, 74, of Bearden died Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born September 12, 1940 in Fouke, Arkansas. He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department and he was a member of Providence Land Mark Missionary Baptist Church of Thornton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Lee and Flora Hobson Patterson; wife, Chloe Dean Evans Patterson; one daughter, Shannon Lea Nation; two sisters, Margaret Murphy and Loretta Patterson; three brothers, Roger Patterson, Boyce Neal Patterson, and Earnest Glenn Patterson. Doyle is survived by his wife, Doris Pate Patterson of Bearden; one son, Barry Evans of Camden; two daughters, Regina LaFever of Harlan, IN, Rhonda (Chuck) Brown of Monticello; two brothers, Wayne Patterson of Ferris, TX, Billy Patterson of Fouke; three sisters, Nora Green, Nevada Walls and Carolyn Birdsong all of Fouke; seven grandchildren, Dustin Patterson of Camden, Brooke LaFever of Harlan,. IN, Brandi Shirley of Corpus Christi, TX, Blake and Brittany Brown of Monticello, John Wayne Nation of Fort. Wayne, IN, Donald Ray Nation of Bearden; four great grandchildren, Kaydence LaFever of Harlan, IN, Tripp and Myles Shirley of Corpus Christi, TX, and Micheal Patterson of Camden. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Richard Merritt and Rev.
