Doshia Lee Davis Wilson, 96, of Fordyce formerly of Thornton died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. She was born December 12, 1918 in Hampton, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Fordyce. She is preceded in death by her parents, George W. Davis and Minnie McCann Vaughan; husband Everett E. Wilson; four daughters, Patricia Wilson Jennings, Margaret Wilson Henry, Eloise Wilson, Bessie Wilson Hicks, Betty Wilson Marchant; and eight siblings. She is survived by three daughters, Bobbie Wilson Lacewell and husband Kenny of Bryant, Mary Wilson House and husband Kenneth of Carlisle, PA, Lois Mosley and husband Clifford of Bearden; son-in-law Lamar Jennings of Rison; eleven grandchildren, Keith Lacewell of Fayetteville, Sandy Bragg of Carlisle, PA, Kevin Jennings of Mt. Ida, Leslie Moore of Little Rock, Karen Hughes of Bryant, Kenley House of Carlisle, PA, Laura Burns of Benton, Regina Wise of Sheridan, Ben Wilson of Sheridan, Charlotte Henry of Bearden, Karen Beth Wilson of California; and several great grandchildren. Special thanks to Johnnie McManus and Twila and John Lockwood for being there for her at all times. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cato officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
